Ed Keturakis

Vice President, Program Development

Ed Keturakis has more than 25 years of agribusiness and natural resource management experience. As Vice President of New Business Development, he leads the strategic direction and design of CNFA’s agricultural market systems development programs.

Before joining CNFA, Keturakis was a Senior Agribusiness Specialist within the Global Practice for Trade & Competitiveness at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group. Throughout his career, Keturakis has managed USAID-funded projects and advised agribusinesses throughout Africa and Asia on their start-up and growth strategies. He also has first-hand experience as an agribusiness entrepreneur, as co-owner of a small processed food export and marketing company with factories in Turkey and distribution in the U.S., and as a commercial beekeeper in New Mexico, managing a 4,000-hive honey-production operation.

Keturakis began his career as an agroforestry volunteer with the Peace Corps in Niger. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Benedictine College, a Master of Science in Biology from Truman State University, and a Master of Science in Food Processing Engineering from ENSIA-SIARC (Ecole National Supérieur des Industries Agricoles et Alimentaires – Section Industries Agroalimentaires Régions Chaudes) in France.
