Scott Clark

Senior Director of Costing

Scott Clark is an international development specialist with over 25 years of experience, 14 of which were spent in developing countries. As the Senior Director of Cost and Pricing for CNFA, he leads proposal design and budget preparation and serves as a liaison between operations, programs, and business development. Prior to that, he was the director of CNFA’s Farmer-to-Farmer Programs in Southern Africa, East Africa, and Europe/Caucasus/Central Asia.

Before joining CNFA in 2010, Clark worked for TechnoServe, holding various positions including senior program manager for the Africa Division. He has held long-term project management positions focused on food security and export-capacity-building in Ghana and Mozambique, and served as an agricultural extensionist with the Peace Corps in highland Ecuador. Clark has conducted short-term assignments in 25 other countries focused on value-chain development, monitoring and evaluation, and proposal preparation.

Clark holds a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies with a focus on agricultural development from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a focus on developing countries from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
